Welcome

Just added: Ten years of Mystery Pictures!
Browse through the last ten years of Mystery Picture of the Week.

See the Civil War Walking Tour of Downtown Lynchburg.

We have been rebuilding this site and have already restored more than 13,000 photos, which you can see under the Photos link. In addition we have added many maps and panoramic images which you can see in great detail (see Maps, Pans, & Aerials).

A new feature is the Documents section. We are beginning to upload many useful research documents and old resource material about Lynchburg. Check it out.

You can also visit our physical location at the office of Blackwell Press at 1318 Church Street. We are usually there from 10 to 4, Monday–Friday, but we may be gone at lunchtime.

We have many more photos there to see.

Thanks for your interest,

Nancy Marion
